Admissions

Referrals for admission come from the Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Corrections, county probation departments, Individual Care Grants through the Department of Human Services, special education departments of school districts, and private payments from guardians of clients.

The admissions process consists of reviewing a referral packet regarding the client's background and then conducting a preplacement interview with the client. To initiate the referral process, an informational and assessment packet consisting of a recent psychological report, social history, and school records on the client is forwarded directly to the Admission's Coordinator.

The Admissions Department will inform the referral source of the decision for the date of intake within 48 hours after the preplacement interview.
